The lively Sunday salsa classes, led by Claudia and José Luis, bring rhythm, music, and community spirit to the riverside, illustrating how Madrid Río fosters both recreation and culture.
Life Returns to Madrid Rio

After weeks of heavy rain. Workers at Madrid Rio prepare protective gear and start maintenance along the river. At the top of the stairs, Ruben, one of the park staff, explains how the weather has kept the team busy clearing debris and keeping the area safe.

Claudia and José Luis, a dancing duo, share a moment mid-step during their Sunday salsa class in Madrid Río. They teach salsa and casino here each week, as well as at other locations across the city.
Couples fill the park with music as they practice salsa steps together. Sunday dance sessions like these have become a lively tradition at Madrid Río.
